This change in the practical nursing programs in Florida has created a panic situation among the students as they are scared of not achieving their nursing degree.

The situations are not good for the nursing students in the School of Nursing, as the school has raised the bars for the students to earn a nursing degree. Recently, it has been noticed that The School of Nursing has added a new twist in the practical nursing programs in Florida. As per the new program, it is mandatory for the nursing students to score above 850 in all the HESI exams, to complete their nursing degree. If the students fail to achieve a score of 850, then they will be discarded from the nursing program.

Basically, HESI exams are one type of tests which the nursing students used to appear in order to prepare themselves for the NCLEX-RN exam. This NCLEX-RN exam is very much important for the nursing students to get their nursing degree. But now as per the new practical nursing programs in Florida, it is compulsory for the students to appear for the HESI exams and to score a minimum of 850.

This change in the practical nursing programs in Florida has created a panic situation among the students as they are scared of not achieving their nursing degree. In an interview, some of the students stated that the pressure is really high now, which is creating a barrier in their personal as well as social life. While some other students mentioned that this new program is really good as it will ensure the nursing knowledge among all the nursing degree holders.

But what will happen to the students which are not able to score a minimum of 850? Will they have to drop their nursing career in the middle of their education? All these questions are still unanswered by the authorities of the School of Nursing, which has left a mark of stress on the faces of the nursing students.
